Following his successful feature on Pretty Boy Worldwide DWN’s song 'Typical', and period of refocusing his sound, MMMBIGGII is back with his new single ‘Head To Toe’ with C.Tino.
Catchy and vibey, the song pays a tribute to a girl of MMMBIGGII’s dreams; acting as a message to her. The first section is made up of his smooth vocals mixed of high and low notes.
For MMMBIGGII, the song explores love and the concept of time; when balancing life but dealing with a strong fear of missing out on his gorgeous lover. He discusses this in the first line when he says ‘You say you got work in the morning, 2am and your hips still rolling’…’in my arms is the spot that you’re owning’, when he touches on the scenario of being with someone and not wanting to leave them but life getting in the way. In the end of the first section we hear his gentle and sweet vocals '"I been dreaming this for so long, feel like with you I can do no wrong'" which captures the gentle vibe of this ultimate love song as his voice reflects the lyrics perfectly.
C. Tino’s first verse continues with the same energy as he talks to a girl in first person, claiming she's the only one for him and claiming her as his. On C. Tino's second verse he brings a slight conflicting vibe with a different attitude towards girls stating 'always break your heart but you still wanna trust me' as he portrays being clear and straight up about how he feels and wants to be understood; creating a tale of two stories.
The beat itself featuring the two musically talented artists makes for a song you can’t help but want to play on repeat - especially due to its untraditionally structured nature where the hook is only heard at the start of the song and faded out in the outro.
