Bristol's upcoming rap star Local Ace, has just dropped his third single, '+44'. The song is about progression - wanting the finer things in life, trials and tribulations and how to move forward. The inspiration for '+44' was the real life experience Local Ace gained whilst navigating his way through life; aspiring to achieve all he is set to do yet remaining content with his current situation.
Inspired by his family and those around him, Local Ace started making music at age 13.
He has since been working hard to build up a portfolio of songs, meanwhile releasing singles '25' and 'La Vida Loca'. He is excited to share the next wave of music with his audience and expand his listeners further, both within and outside his city.
Local Ace writes in a way that caters to multiple age groups, through his honesty and distinctive storytelling about life and growing up. He aims to engage as many people as possible with his sound, letting people naturally enjoy it. Mixing rap and melodic riffs, Local Ace embodies a unique and versatile style, with his music including local phrases which derive from growing up in Bristol city. His clarity and cadence is prominent in his music, reflecting his straight-up mannerism.
Local Ace owns brand Husso, which incorporates music, fashion and art. He creates all his own artwork and is a hugely artistic individual. The brand aims to inspire people to be themselves and put effort into whichever creative path they’re taking. "I feel like if you're a creative person it's very important you express it wherever you can. I hope Husso inspires people to do that" says Local Ace.
